Working Mom’s ‘All About Baby’ bazaar
Working Mom Magazine presents its annual “All About Baby” bazaar on Saturday (August 25) at the Rockwell Tent from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Moms only need to present their copy of Working Mom’s August or September issue for admission.
Now on its third year, Working Mom’s baby fair offers the essentials, the latest and most innovative products for both traditional and modern mothers. All merchants participating in the fair will be offering discounts of up to 75% off on selected items.
These merchants include Youji & Me, Baby Care Plus, Baby Depot, Baby & Co., Momtrepreneur, Mommy Matters, Mommy Treats, Nursing Mom, Indigo Baby, Cussons, Hatch and Latch, Freycoo and Manila Baby, among others.
Aside from the sale, there will also be workshops for moms by Denise Gonzales of Indigo Baby, The Medical City and Makati Medical Center.
“My Masterpiece Movement” will perform on stage and operate an arts and crafts area for kids, while the GPG Bulilit Bookstore will operate a reading nook for storytelling activities.
Gymboree, meanwhile, will entertain kids with Parachute Time and will teach them the Gymbo Dance. There will also be a nursing lounge for breastfeeding moms, as well as a diaper changing room complete with baby hygiene essentials.
New episode of ‘Interior Motives’
This week, Lifestyle Network’s interior design show “Interior Motives” will feature three living rooms to guide and inspire viewers who want to improve the look of their homes.
The episode will give viewers a look at the designed houses of Mike and Paul Pena, Cheska Mendoza and Errol Orellana, and contemporary art collector Astrud Crisologo.
It will also give tips on how to pick the right type of air conditioner for the living room.
“Interior Motives,” hosted by Angel Aquino, airs on Lifestyle Network every Saturday at 7 p.m.
‘Praybeyt Benjamin’ on Cinema One
The highest grossing local movie of all time is set to premiere on cable channel Cinema One this weekend.
“The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin,” starring comedian Vice Ganda, will be aired on Cinema One at 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 26.
Directed by Wenn Deramas, the movie tells the life and struggle of Benjamin “Benjie” Santos VIII, an openly gay man who entered the military service to save his grandfather.
“The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin,” which earned a total of P331.61 million, is the second starring film of Vice Ganda, with the first one being the remake of “Petrang Kabayo.”
‘Forbidden Broadway’ rerun
Due to numerous requests from theater lovers, Upstart Productions is bringing back the Off-Broadway smash hit “Forbidden Broadway” tonight and on Saturday, August 25.
There will be an 8 p.m. show tonight and two shows (3 p.m. and 8 p.m.) on Saturday at the Carlos P. Romulo Theater at the RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
“Forbidden Broadway,” which debuted in New York in 1982, had its Manila run last May.
The original cast of the Manila production, along with guest performers Michael de Mesa and Nikki Gil, will be part of the rerun.
