MANILA – The homegrown restaurant chain Cibo is doing a throwback as it offers some of its bestselling items at their prices back in 1997.
An item from Cibo’s menu is sold on a specific date, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page. The promo started on August 18 and will run until Friday, August 22.
For today, August 21, Cibo is offering its Crema di Zucca (squash soup) at only P95 from its menu price of P215.
On Friday, the restaurant will sell its Penne al Telefono (penne pasta with stewed tomato, mozzarella, white cheese and basil cream) at P175 from P355.
Other items offered over the past days include Tagliata di Manzo – Aglio Rosmarino (roast beef tenderloin with garlic and rosemary), Spinaci Zola (spinach dip with crostini) and Uva Nera (red grape shake).
Cibo, owned and operated by Filipina restaurateur Margarita Fores, opened its first branch in 1997.
Fores’ other restaurant concepts include Lusso and Grace Park, which are both located in Makati.
