Gov't asks: Has disaster response improved?
MANILA, Philippines – Government has started assessing its response to the recent disaster that hit the country and has called on citizens to give their observations and insights.
Citizens may answer questions below to help government be guided in improving disaster management and preventing loss of lives and livelihood.
1) What aspect of disaster management has improved? In which government agency did you notice the improvement? What has improved (for example: information dissemination was faster, rescue was faster, relief was faster)?
2) What aspect of disaster management worsened? In which government agency did you notice the worsening? What has worsened (for example: information dissemination was slower, rescue was slower, relief was slower)?
3) What else can government fix in terms of disaster management? How may citizens help government?
