MANILA, Philippines – Grammy award-winning alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins arrived in Manila on Sunday for a one-night performance, which is part of the band’s album tour for “Oceania.”
The concert will be held on Tuesday, August 7, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Formed in Chicago in 1988, The Smashing Pumpkins gained popularity for the songs “Disarm,” “Landslide,” “1979” and “Bullet With Butterfly Wings.”
The band’s new album, “Oceania,” was released last June. It debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 1 on the Independent Albums chart.
