Enjoy a discounted package rate of P5,824 net per person for a three-day stay in Boracay Garden Resort’s premier room. Based on twin sharing, this is inclusive of daily breakfast and dinner and round-trip transfers via Caticlan. Travel period is valid until March 31, 2013.

The resort’s main swimming pool has recently been re-designed with natural stones imported from Bali, Indonesia. The 450-meter pool also features a pool bar and deck and is lined with Asian-inspired cabanas and sun loungers.

The mini-shop and business center were also recently opened adjacent to the refurbished resort lobby. The newly renovated fully air-conditioned gym and fitness center features modern gears including free weights, strength machines, and cardio-vascular equipment. It is one of the biggest fitness centers in the island.

Terra Wellness Spa

Terra Wellness Spa in Discovery Shores Boracay as well as its branch in Discovery Suites in Ortigas Center is known for its signature massage Terra’s Touch.

This therapeutic treatment is a full body Swedish-based massage that incorporates long flowing techniques, tailored to soothe, relax and calm the whole body. It commences with the foot and legs to stimulate the flow of circulation, then proceeding to the arms and the back of the body to reduce and soothe tired muscles and finally at the shoulder and the head to culminate this relaxing and therapeutic experience.

Terra’s Touch is further enhanced with the use of specially blended therapeutic oil choices including Alaga (soothing) with rosemary and ginger essential oils to ease aches and pains; Sigla (energizing) with lemongrass and peppermint essential oils to revitalize the body and mind; Gayuma (romance) with ylang ylang and palmarosa essential oils to calm the mind; and Hulay (relaxing) with ylang ylang and lavender essential oils to relieve body tensions and soothe the nerves.

Healing pilgrimage

After its first tour in May, Green Faith Travels is holding its second healing pilgrimage to the province of Tarlac on Saturday, August 25. A highlight of the trip is a visit to Monasterio de Tarlac in San Jose to venerate the relic of the True Cross of Jesus Christ at the Church of the Risen Christ.

Pilgrims will also visit the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church at Bgy. Central in Hacienda Luisita, patterned after the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in France; San Sebastian Cathedral in Tarlac City; the churches of St. Raphael the Archangel and San Lorenzo Ruiz also in Tarlac City; and Diocesan Shrine of Nuestra Señora De La Paz y Buen Viaje (Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage) in La Paz. Parish priests of these churches generously welcomed and blessed the pilgrims in May.

The tour costs P1,850 per person and includes round-trip transport via air-conditioned tourist bus, breakfast, lunch, snacks, water, juice packs and a pilgrim’s kit.

For a group of five, Green Faith Travels will extend 25% discount on the fee of one pilgrim. The four others will pay the full registration fee.
