Bayan Mo iPatrol Mo (BMPM) will pay tribute to its Top 10 BIDA Patrollers on July 23 at the University of Santo Tomas (UST).

This is in commemoration of BMPM’s 1 million Patroller members.

The criteria for judging included the impact of the story they submitted, the quality of video material they sent, and the frequency or loyalty of their submissions.

A number of speakers have also been invited to talk on July 23 at UST about the role of social media, among them, ABS-CBN senior reporter Doland Castro, who is also a graduate of UST; Jing Castaneda, BMPM's reporter; Inday Varona, change.org Director; and Rowena Paraan who currently heads the unit.

Meantime, there is more to expect from BMPM, aside from its renowned Selfie Balita segment in Bandila.

Next month, BMPM will be in Munoz, Nueva Ecija for a Mobile Journalism training at Central Luzon State University (CLSU).

The community and social services-focused citizen arm of ABS-CBN Integrated News has also joined DZMM’s TLC (Teaching Learning Caring) 28-year special at the Amoranto Sports Complex on August 10.

Last month, to give thanks to Patrollers, BMPM surprised them with a FlashMob dance at Quezon City Circle.
