MANILA, Philippines - Kobe Bryant's 2011 Manila Tour was made more meaningful as he paid a visit to the Gawad Kalinga (GK) village in Barangay Pinagsama, Taguig City.

Bryant met with children from the village who are part of GK's youth development program called "SIGA."

The NBA legend set up a shooting competition among the children, with 2 groups competing to be the first to 7 points.

After the 1st round of the game, Bryant addressed the losing team: "You owe me 10 push-ups."

Bryant set up another round and tasked the losing team to do 30 sit-ups.

In the final round, Bryant joined one of the teams as they were short on player. True to form, Bryant made the winning jump shot and celebrated with the children as if he had just won the championship.

But the NBA superstar did not forget the losing team: he did the push-ups along with the players.

Bryant had stressed the importance of constant workout and practice to the children, saying that "practice, practice, practice," was the key to getting better.

The children expressed their gratitude to Bryant by giving him a GK t-shirt.
