MANILA, Philippines – A glammed up Iza Calzado is the cover girl for the fifth anniversary issue of men's magazine Rogue.
Calzado currently appears in the July cover of the magazine, wearing a white top and gloves made from gauze and surrounded by female “surgeons.”
The blurb read "The reconstruction of Iza Calzado." The article was written by filmmaker Yam Laranas, who directed Calzado in the Hollywood movie "The Echo."
The cover was released by Rogue on its Facebook page on Tuesday.
Photographed by Mark Nicdao, styled by LA Consing Lopez, make up by Juan Sarte and hair styled by Celeste Tuviera, several netizens lauded the Kapamilya actress for being a timeless Filipina beauty.
In Rogue’s official Facebook account, Rowell Matias said Calzado is “one of the most beautiful faces in showbiz industry today.”
“I like you so much Iza Calzado, I hope someday I see you in person and have a picture with me. I pray to God. Idol Iza. More projects for you,” he added.
Facebook user Oni Domingo, for his part, said Calzado is “definitely a very fine Filipina beauty.”
"That's The Face! Move over you Belofied beauties!" gushed Richard Escano on Rogue's Facebook page.
Over on Twitter, user Vince Ascalon said Rogue’s newest cover is its best yet.
Twitter user Mark Hui Lao, meantime, said “I think this is what they mean when they describe someone as insanely beautiful.”
As for Twitter user Carlo Ar-ar Arizabal, he said: “Still can't get over [the] ROUGE cover. I grabbed the mag with no second thoughts! Great work.”
