Weekend guide: New products for stylish women

MANILA, Philippines – Doing some shopping this weekend? A number of companies recently introduced products targeted mainly at stylish women who are always on the go.

Here are some of them. These are not endorsed by ABS-CBNnews.com.

Colorful ear candy

Skullcandy is now offering new colors for its current set of headphones and earphones, ideal for those who want not just a great listening tool but also a stylish accessory.

Designs range from the signature skulls to the Japanese-inspired pop art of Tokidoki.

There is even a gold-colored headset called the “G. I. headphones,” and one that comes with interchangeable ear caps. Skullcandy also offers headphones for professional – and wannabe – DJs.

The products are priced between P1,495 and P13,500 each.

“We’re not only selling headphones. It’s about a lifestyle,” said Anil Menghrajani, president of Rains International Corp., which distributes Skullcandy products in the Philippines.

Skullcandy audio products are available in AstroVision, Bratpack, DC, Gadgets in Style, Mobile 1, Ambassador Appliance Inc., A Shop, R.O.X., Robinson’s Department Store Ermita and Galleria and Tribu. They can also be bought online at Zalora.

Fruity facial cleansers

Neutrogena recently introduced its newest beauty innovations which include two types of fruity facial cleansers.

The Deep Clean Brightening Mulberry Ultra Foam Cleanser, for one, has mulberry extracts that are rich in vitamins B3 and C. Aside from removing dullness-causing dirt, oil, impurities and dead skin cells, the product promises to visibly whiten skin.

The Deep Clean Revitalizing Pink Grapefruit Ultra Foam Cleanser, on the other hand, has pink grapefruit extracts that promise to help stimulate healthy cell renewal.

Both items are exclusively available at Watsons for P307.50 each.

Aside from the two facial cleansers, Neutrogena also unveiled its Hydro Boost Gel, which promises to keep skin moisturized and protected from the sun’s harmful rays.

Trendy and comfy footwear

Crocs, a brand that became famous for its comfortable clogs with holes, has launched its newest line of women’s footwear.

Still made from its trademark Croslite material, items from the SS12 collection come in both dainty and trendy styles.

The Sexi Aliana sandal, for instance, includes turquoise-colored stones, making it look all glammed up.

Another one is the Thrillita, a pair of strappy heels.

Targeted at women who want both style and comfort, Crocs’ SS12 collection is available in malls nationwide.
