MANILA, Philippines -- The recent opening of the new Lamborghini Manila showroom officially announced the arrived of the brand in the Philippines.
Located in the W building in Bonifacio Global City, the first Lamborghini facility in the country was built in accordance with Lamborghini’s international showroom standards.
Present at the event was Stephan Winkelmann, president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., along with Lamborghini Manila’s newly appointed officers, customers, VIPs, politicians and guests from Manila’s sports, business and arts sectors.
The dealership agreement for the representation of the Italian brand has been signed with PGA Automobile, Inc., already the distributor of prestigious brands like Audi and Porsche. This makes Lamborghini the third brand under the VW Group that PGA Cars has acquired the exclusive distributorship for.
The newly appointed super sports car brand will carry Lamborghini’s exclusive sports cars -- the Gallardo, the new Aventador LP700-4 and several exclusive special edition models of both.
The showroom also features a wide variety of accessories and apparel, and a dedicated service facility equipped with specialized tools for the various models in the Lamborghini range.
“Lamborghini’s new presence in the Philippines represents our commitment to our customers on this important market” said Winkelmann. “I am very delighted to inaugurate our first showroom in the Philippines. Our clients here love the brand for its unique values of being extreme, uncompromising and unmistakably Italian.”
For the occasion, Lamborghini Manila lined up its wide variety of variants from the Gallardo LP 560-2, LP 570-4, Gallardo Bicolore, Gallardo Noctis, Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale and its new Aventador LP700-4 with the brand’s trademark scissor doors.
Winkelmann noted that Lamborghini sales are not volume-driven, but was optimistic about selling 15 to 20 units within a year with its vehicles priced at the eight-figure mark.
Automobili Lamborghini was founded in 1963, and is headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, in northeastern Italy. It currently has more than 120 dealerships worldwide.
