MANILA - Actress Heart Evangelista showcased her paintings in her first art exhibit, which opened on Thursday.
The exhibit, titled "I am Love Marie," is held at the Artist Space at Ayala Museum. It is open to the public starting today until May 22.
Evangelista, whose real name is Love Marie Ongpauco, said the launch of her first art exhibit "was the best time of my life."
"I will forever be grateful to everyone who came and appreciated my hard work... My passion... Thank you for being there," the actress wrote as a caption in her Instagram photo, which showed her in a ribbon cutting ceremony with Fernando Zobel de Ayala and her boyfriend, Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero.
Also seen at the launch are renowned sculptor Ramon Orlina and some of her close friends.
On Friday, Evangelista posted another painting, implying that she is preparing for her next exhibit.
"The morning after... let's begin again #iamlovemarie," she wrote.
Evangelista's previous Instagram posts show that her paintings usually depict melancholic women.
