MANILA – ABS-CBN’s Bayan Mo, Ipatrol Mo (BMPM) led a motorcade with its newly launched “Bus ng Bayan” on Monday, one week before the mid-term elections on May 13.
A short program was held in Barangay Commonwealth in Quezon City to encourage people to vote next Monday.
BMPM's message to each citizen is to be active in ensuring clean and honest elections.
BMPM is ABS-CBN News' citizen journalism arm, which was established in 2007. There are currently around half-a-million Bayan Patrollers or citizen journalists throughout the country.
The caravan also headed to FTI in Taguig, Sta. Ana in Manila, and then Kilometer Zero in Luneta Park.
The bus went back to ABS-CBN compound where a free concert was held. - With Atom Araullo for ANC
