MANILA -- Duty Free Philippines has opened new boutiques in Fiesta Mall to give returning and visiting overseas Filipino workers a wider range of choices when shopping.
Fiesta Mall, near Ninoy Aquino International Airport, has opened boutiques of Victoria’s Secret, French luxury brand Chloe, American brand Kiehl's and the world-renowned Coach.
It is also offering Dunhill, Ferragamo, and other popular brands including Guess, Lacoste and The Body Shop.
The state-owned Duty Free Philippines, an attached agency of the Department of Tourism (DOT), is mandated to satisfy the duty-free shopping needs of international travelers. It is a vital component of the DOT as it contributes to the efforts in the development of the country’s tourism infrastructure, programs and projects.
“Duty Free shops are among the first places that our balikbayans visit, and usually they come back with their families and loved ones. We want to make sure we are giving them a very warm welcome and make their bonding moments with their families truly worthwhile and memorable,” Duty Free Philippines chief operating officer Lorenzo C. Formoso said in a press release.
Fiesta Mall already offers a staple of duty-free merchandise by world renowned brands such as Johnny Walker, Chivas, Hennessy, Ballantines and Remy Martin for liquor; Hershey’s, Cadburry, M&Ms, Toblerone and Nestle for chocolates; Christian Dior, Lancome, Giorgio Armani, and Bulgari to name a few for cosmetics and perfumes.
Fiesta Mall is celebrating its 27th anniversary this month.
Formoso said the month-long anniversary celebration will feature a Grand Toy Sale, the "Kitkat Have a Break, Chill to Your Summer Sound" raffle which is giving away BOSE Digital Music Systems, the "Reese's Fiesta Surprise" raffle with a Mitsubishi Mirage and Samsung Galaxy Note 3's as prizes, and many other anniversary discounts in its fashion and fragrance categories.
