1. Sustainable seafood at Marriott Café
As part of Marriott Hotel Manila’s commitment to sustainable fishing, the Marriott Café adds an array of fresh seafood that were harvested through sustainable fishing. These include local oysters, curacha (crab), scallops, mussels, prawns and even lobsters.
Of course, gambas remains a favorite in the spread. Pair your local tiger prawns with your pick of roasted garlic, Bourbon barbecue, herb butter, lime butter and cilantro pesto at the gambas station.
The sushi station, meanwhile, features fresh tuna and salmon sashimi, crispy futo maki, salmon, tamago and ebi sushi.
Marriott Café also offers meat dishes, noodles, pasta, desserts, and some Filipino comfort food.
The lunch buffet is available at P1,900 net from Mondays to Saturdays and P 2,500 net for Sunday. Dinner buffet is P 2,100 net from Sunday to Thursday and P2,500 net for Friday and Saturday.

2. Philippine signature drinks at Marco Polo
Beat the heat with the delightful favors of Manila, Cebu, and Davao at the different Marco Polo hotels in the country.
The Manila branch serves Sapphire Road, a mixture of brandy, calamansi, mint leaves, Palawan honey, and beer. It is served in coconut bowl, banana leaves, and dry ice.
Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, on the other hand, offers a refreshing mix of aromatic pandan, white rum, cucumber syrup, and peach schnapps topped with pandan molecular pearls.
Meanwhile, Marco Polo Davao offers a mix of the region's famous sweet pomelo, passion fruit, soda, and grenadine. It is also served with vodka.
These drinks are available this month at Marco Polo Hotels in Manila, Cebu, and Davao.
3. Shakey's debuts first open kitchen in Buendia branch
Shakey’s recently opened its newest branch in Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati that features an open kitchen.
With this, guests can watch their meals being prepared at the branch's see-through kitchen.
Apart from thus, the branch has also been designed with higher ceilings for a brighter and lighter atmosphere.
Visit Shakey’s Buendia and avail of the Shakey’s Be Super! promo and get six free coupons for every Shakey’s SuperCard purchase until May 6 through dine-in, carry out, or delivery.
Meanwhile, Shakey's also introduces its new summer refreshment, the Yoghurt Summer Bliss. It is available in strawberry and blueberry flavors for only P170 until May 31.

4. McDonald’s launches Angry Bird Desserts
Inspired by the upcoming "Angry Birds" movie, McDonald’s launched a new set of fun desserts.
The Red’s Cotton Candy McFlurry is a creamy vanilla soft serve ice cream drizzled with cotton candy-flavored syrup and sprinkled with wafer bits.
Piggies’ Oreo Matcha McFlurry, on the other hand, is a vanilla soft serve sprinkled with crushed Oreo mixed with creamy matcha green tea-flavored bits.
Meanwhile, Bomb’s Black Sesame McDip is a velvety black sesame-flavored coating that is perfect for your vanilla soft serve.
5. Free Yellow Cab pizza with Citi PayLite
