MANILA - The complete trailer of the two-part sequel of the "Rurouni Kenshin" live action movie was released online on Thursday.
The trailer for "Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno / The Legend Ends," which runs for nearly two minutes, was uploaded on the official YouTube page of the movie as well as its social media accounts.
Aside from the original Japanese version, videos with English, French, Chinese, Spanish and Korean subtitles were also released.
The first part of the sequel will be screened in Japan on August 1, while the second movie will be shown on September 13.
In "Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno / The Legend Ends," protagonist Kenshin Himura (Takeru Satoh) fights against the burnt and bandaged Makoto Shishio (Tatsuya Fujiwara) and members of his elite group Juppongatana.
A one-minute trailer for the two-part sequel was released last March, with a teaser uploaded online in December last year.
The first "Rurouni Kenshin" live action movie was screened in Japan in August 2012. It was shown in selected cinemas in the Philippines in December of the same year.
