MANILA, Philippines – Model Arianny Celeste, the most popular Octagon girl of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), appears topless on the cover of the May issue of FHM Philippines.
While Celeste’s appearance on the cover of the popular men’s magazine has been earlier reported, “we’re only making it pretty damn official: Arianny Celeste is our cover babe for the month of May,” FHM said on its website.
“It took us a good amount of pinching and convincing to believe this is actually happening, but soon as we saw the UFC Octagon Girl live and in the flesh, we had to swallow it all in: We are in the presence of one of the most wanted chicks in the world,” the magazine said.
On the cover, Celeste can be seen wearing only a tiny lace panty, with her hands cupping her ample breasts.
Veteran photographer Xander Angeles, who has shot many of FHM’s covers, did the Celeste’s pictorial.
“There are sexy women, and then there are perfectly toned curves. Check out Arianny’s. We need not know what her measurements are to conclude that her female form is near-godly,” FHM said.
This is not the first time Celeste is appearing in a men’s magazine. Celeste, who is one-fourth Filipino and three-fourths Mexican, was voted by Maxim as “The Hottest UFC Octagon Girl” in the magazine’s May 2010 issue where she was the cover model. Celeste has also appeared in Sports Illustrated and Playboy.
“We know Arianny has done her fair share of sexy magazine shoots, but we here at the FHM HQ have never been prouder for landing an international crush ng bayan, much less the female face of the UFC,” the magazine said.
Netizens praised FHM’s choice of cover girl.
“I don’t know who the hell she is… but since I collect FHM, I will buy it ‘coz I find the cover HOT! HOT! HOT!! Hudos FHM for dishing out a new cover babe,” Eric Andrade commented on FHM’s Facebook page.
“The wait is finally over! Yahoo! I can’t wait to grab this issue,” Jeftee Ortillo also said on Facebook.
On her official Twitter account, Celeste plugged the magazine.
“FHM Philippines cover shoot out now! Go get ‘em boys ‘n girls,” she tweeted, adding that she loves the Philippines.
