MANILA – A new store at the Century City Mall in Makati City has been generating buzz for its chic products for babies and toddlers, from Purebaby organic apparel to Jacadi perfume and mini Birkin bags.

Chibi Momo, which roughly translates to “mischievous little peach” in Japanese, promises to offer "fun" items that are usually not found in other baby boutiques.

The store is the brainchild of New York-raised Jackie Cohen Antonio.

In an interview with Town & Country magazine where she appears on the cover, Jackie said Chibi Momo was inspired by her first son, Devon.

Jackie is married to real estate scion Marco Antonio of Century Properties.

“Every day is a learning experience. For some maybe, my store might [come across] as frivolous,” she told the magazine, adding that she plans to bind Chibi Momo’s future revenues to a worthy charity.

Jackie and Marco tied the knot in 2004 in Manila, and in New York the following year. According to Town & Country, they are preparing to welcome their second baby.

Before moving to Manila with Marco, Jackie earned a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of Michigan.
