Shopping shorts: New shoes from adidas, Butterfly Twists
MANILA, Philippines – Here are some announcements that may make shoe lovers happy.

Shoes from adidas
Sportswear brand adidas recently released a handful of brightly colored footwear, with the latest endorsed by English football player David Beckham.
Beckham is seen wearing the climacool Revolution running shoes, which promise to provide ventilation from all sides for an improved running performance.

The blue footwear also features a lining called Coolever that is said to keep the foot cool, dry and comfortable during a run.
The new climacool Revolution has a recommended retail price of P6,895.
Other shoes recently launched by adidas include the D Rose 3.5 signature shoe, which is inspired by NBA player Derrick Rose; and the D Rose 3.5 “Chi-Town” Edition, which represents the flag of Chicago.
The new kicks are priced at P7,995 each.
Aside from these, adidas also unveiled the adizero f50 Messi boot, which is inspired by Argentine footballer Lionel “Leo” Messi. The red and white boot aims to reflect Messi’s footballing philosophy.
Shoes from Butterfly Twists
For the girls, the British footwear brand Butterfly Twists offers a new line of foldable shoes in several colors and designs.
The new line promises sturdier, more comfortable and more fashionable footwear, from slippers to ballet flats and even foldable boots.

“Women today are busier. They attend to their families, they have jobs, they work out; some still go to school, and basically, they’re always on the go, so they need shoes that help them do all these things in confidence,” said Lina Claudio, president of Butterfly Twists Philippines.
“We offer products that complement the new Filipino women’s lifestyle, more especially now that we’re headed to a more fashion-conscious direction. The new Butterfly Twists just fall right smack in the middle of all these trends,” she added.
