MANILA – A new trailer for the two-part sequel of the “Rurouni Kenshin” live action movie was released online on Thursday.
The trailer for “Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno / The Legend Ends” was uploaded on the official YouTube page of the movie. Aside from the original Japanese version, videos with English, French, Chinese and Korean subtitles were also released.
Spanish and Tagalog versions of the trailer are expected to be posted shortly. According to the trailer, the “Rurouni Kenshin” sequels will be shown in Japan in August 1 and September 13.
Takeru Satoh returns as Kenshin Himura in the sequel to the well-loved “Rurouni Kenshin” live action movie screened in Japan in 2012. It was shown in selected cinemas in the Philippines in December of the same year.

In “Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno / The Legend Ends,” Himura faces the burnt and bandaged antagonist Makoto Shishio (Tatsuya Fujiwara) and members of his elite group Juppongatana.
The first teaser trailer for the film was released online in December last year.
