MANILA - Socialite Paris Hilton left the Philippines on Friday after days of promoting her first real estate project in the country.
Hilton left Manila on board Cathay Pacific Airlines flight CX 900 bound for Los Angeles via Hong Kong.
The hotel heiress said she enjoyed her stay in the Philippines and will definitely return to the country.
She added that aside from the sunny weather, she also loved the warm welcome of the Filipinos.
Airport police provided a contingent of crowd control personnel to ensure that fans will not mob the high-profile celebrity.
Hilton and her brother Barron became frantic upon reaching the check-in counter when she is unable to find her passport.
After a 15-minute search of their bags, Hilton's passport was eventually found.
"Yes, thank God," Barron shouted. -- Report from Raoul Esperas
