MANILA, Philippines -- Actors Melissa Rauch of the TV sitcom "Big Bang Theory" and Blake Jenner of the TV musical "Glee" chose designs by Hollywood-based Filipino fashion designer Oliver Tolentino for the 2013 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards last Sunday in Los Angeles.
Both "Big Bang Theory" and "Glee" were nominated as Best Ensemble TV Comedy, but lost to "Modern Family."
Rauch chose a violet silk chiffon bustier gown with hand-draped bodice and flowing skirt featuring a center slit.
Rauch has worn the designer’s creations in the past and personally asked Tolentino to design something for her the SAG Awards.
“Thank you to the wonderful @DesignerOliverT for designing my custom gown tonight! You're my dress angel!” she tweeted later that night.
Jenner, a rising star on the fourth season of "Glee," chose a black wool tuxedo with traditional collar.
