MANILA, Philippines – Stand-up comedian Tim Tayag has uploaded on YouTube a spoof of Ricky Lo’s controversial interview with Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway.

The spoof video has had 2,890 views as of posting, and comes in the wake of Lo’s interview with the "Les Miserables" actress going viral.

The video features clips of Hathaway during the entertainment editor’s interview, with Tayag taking Lo’s place, substituting his own questions.

In one part of the interview, Tayag "tells" Hathaway that he has a dog he named after her, and that the dog, which has had its hair shaved off and its teeth pulled out, looks so much like the actress.

He adds that he hopes Hathaway will be able to meet it.

Hathaway "answers," "She does? I hope to meet her, too."

The segment also spoofed Hathaway’s expression of admiration for Lea Salonga in the original interview.

On Wednesday, Lo finally already reacted to the backlash created by the interview, which some netizens have deemed “painful to watch.”

According to Lo, he sees “nothing wrong” with the interview, and never thought it would create a big buzz online.

“Was I offended? No, I wasn’t. Was I ‘intrusive’? I don’t think so. Did I find her ‘rude’? Hmmmm, only a bit, although I must say that (ehem!) the more than 200 other Hollywood stars I have interviewed were absolutely more delightful, far nicer and totally engaging,” he said.
