MANILA - Actress Pinky Amador impressed members of the media on Wednesday when she performed a rendition of Edith Piaf's "La Vie en Rose," which she sang in three languages.
In a press conference for her upcoming show at Resorts World Manila, Amador sang "La Vie en Rose," effortlessly shifting from French to Tagalog, and then English.
Amador won Best Actress at the 2013 BroadwayWorld.com Awards for the titular role in Atlantis Productions' "Piaf."
Following the success of Piaf, which is said to be her greatest performance yet, Amador is gearing up for a series of shows at Resorts World Manila billed as "Paris Romance."
"Isa siyang pre-Valentine series of concerts. Nagmula po ito noong pinortray ko si Edith Piaf for 'Piaf' last year ng Atlantis Productions. Marami ang humihingi na sana ay makapag-show pa. Gusto nilang marinig 'yung mga songs," she said.
"Paris Romance" will be held on January 18 and 25.
