MANILA, Philippines – Pop star Lady Gaga was seen wearing another Filipino creation, this time by designer Michael Cinco, who is based in Dubai.
Lady Gaga wore a Cinco-designed black gown with a mesh neckline and sleeves embellished with crystals and beads to a charity event organized by the basketball team Chicago Bulls, according to a post in Gagafashionland.com, a website dedicated to the pop star’s style choices.
Cinco himself posted a photo of Lady Gaga wearing his creation on Thursday.

“LADY GAGA wearing MICHAEL CINCO,” he wrote, adding, “What a lovely couture day…I’m just so happy.”
Several Filipinos took to Twitter to congratulate the Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer.
“Congratulations Michael!!” television host Bianca Gonzalez said.
“Bongga Michael! Congrats!” ABS-CBN’s entertainment reporter Gretchen Fullido said.
“This is so awesome.. kudos!” said user Prince Blake.
“Lady Gaga in Michael Cinco! Wow it’s a beautiful day! Lovely morning indeed!” said user Bandoix Flores.
In 2011, Lady Gaga sported a black rubber top and shorts by Filipino designer Kermit Tesoro.
The rubber armor can be seen on the cover of Lady Gaga’s single “Marry the Night.” The outfit first made an appearance in the 2010 holiday show of the Philippine Fashion Week, where Tesoro collaborated with sculptor Leeroy New.
