MANILA – Want to score a bargain on Christmas decor? Make sure to drop by the Parolan bazaar at Araneta Center in Quezon City.
The bazaar opened last October 1, and will remain in operation until the end of the year.
It is now located on Times Square Avenue in front of the Araneta Center bus station, making it more accessible via public transport.
A Christmas tree here can go as low as P250 to as much as P3,500, depending on size and materials. Those who want fully adorned Christmas trees can buy one here for as low as P5,000.
A lantern or parol costs as low as P500, while Capiz balls with lights cost between P1,300 and P1,500.
But even with the low prices compared to malls and other stores, buyers can still haggle with the sellers at the bazaar.
Stalls selling bibingka, puto bumbong, and other traditional Filipino Christmas treats are also available here.
