MANILA -- Not busy this weekend? Here are some of the events and shows you may want to check out.
1. "A Love To Last": #LoveGoals
When: September 8
Where: KIA Theatre
Watch out for primetime's most charming couple Anton and Andeng in a special "A Love To Last" concert.
Expect a blend of kilig and laughter as cast members led by Ian Veneracion and Bea Alonzo perform special numbers for their fans. Award-winning actress Iza Calzado and heartthrobs Ronnie Alonte and Enchong Dee are also expected to attend.

2. Elmo Magalona album tour
When: September 9
Where: Walter Mart Sta. Rosa Bel-Air, Laguna
Elmo Magalona's debut album "ELMO" recently received the Gold Record Award from Universal Records last September 3. The album features Magalona's hits like "Kay Dali," "Tayo Na," "Huwag Kang Matakot," and "Alam Mo Ba," which he recorded with Janella Salvador.
To thank his fans, Magalona will be promoting the album in various Walter Mart branches starting September 9.
He will also be in Walter Mart, Taytay on September 15 and Walter Mart Balayan, Batangas on October 21.
3. Bob Ong's 'Macarthur' on stage
When: September 7, 8, 9
Where: St. Cecilia's Hall, St. Scholastica’s College, Manila
Bob Ong's "Macarthur" is coming to life this weekend at St. Scholastica’s College.
Ong has rewritten his book into a play that tackles some of the country's most pressing issues, such as poverty, graft and corruption, theft and drug addiction.
This adaptation will feature Jude Matthew Sevilla and Erik Gudelano Jr. alternating as Noel, Jomari Angeles and Timothy Castillo as Cyrus, Justin Cuyugan and Iris Borginia as Jim, and Dylan Ray and Mike Villamor as Voltron.
It will be directed by Alejandro "Bong" Ramos.
4. John Ford Coley at Robinsons
When: September 9, 10, 16, 17,
Where: Robinsons Malls
Treat your grandparents to Robinsons Malls on their special day and let them reminisce the good ol' days with John Ford Coley.
Coley was the other half of an American soft rock duo with Dan Seals. One of their most popular songs is "I’d Really Love to See You Tonight."
He will perform live on September 10 (4 p.m.) at Robinsons Magnolia; and September 9 at Robinsons Metro East, September 16 at Robinsons Place Tagum; and September 17 at Robinsons
Galleria Cebu, all at 5 p.m.
Meanwhile, on September 9, The Company will be at Robinsons Magnolia to serenade shoppers with some of their hits including “Everlasting Love,” “Muntik na Kitang Minahal,” and “Now That I Have You.”
5. Pista Rizalina: A Festival of Arts and Ideas
When: September 8-28
Where: CCP theaters
Acclaimed Filipino actors are converging at the Cultural Center of the Philippines for Pista Rizalina: A Festival of Arts and Ideas.
JC Santos, Angeli Bayani, Jackie Lou Blanco and Cherry Pie Picache starr in “Buwan at Baril in EÞ Major.”
Yul Servo, who was last featured in Cinemalaya’s Kiko Boksingero, stars in “Isang Araw sa Karnabal,” while weteran actor Bembol Roco will have a repeat performance of “Maliw” with stage actresses Sherry Lara and Lhorvie Nuevo.
