MANILA - Fans of Irvins Salted Egg flocked to SM Mega Fashion Hall on Friday for the opening of the Singaporean brand's first store in Manila.
A video posted by SM Megamall on its Facebook page showed a long line of customers patiently waiting to buy bags of Irvins' popular salted egg chips.
A sign in front of the stall showed that a customer can only buy five bags at a time.
Irvins Salted Egg has become popular not only among Singaporeans but also Filipinos, who have been bringing home bags of salted egg chips and fish skin as pasalubong.
Responding to growing demand, the brand decided to open a shop in Manila.
