2. Handcrafted coffee for only P100

For the whole month of August, Costa Coffee is offering handcrafted coffee for only P100 per primo cup. 

You can enjoy a cup of Mocha on August 8; a Cappuccino on August 15; a Latte on August 22; and a Flat White on August 29.

All featured coffees are available hot or ice-shaken. 

3. TGI Fridays launches new dishes

TGI Fridays welcomes August with new, innovative dishes.

The "Fresh from the Chef" menu was drawn up by The Bistro Group corporate chef Josh Boutwood and TGI Fridays Philippines executive chef Greg Natividad in tandem with Kevin Miller, International Culinary Director for TGI Fridays.

The new dishes include fresh salads, appetizers, sandwiches, wood-smoked entrees, and flatbreads, among others. 

4. Italian dining at Manila Pavilion Hotel

5. Sky-high bar in bay area

7. Chipotle Chicken Chop Platter

8. El Pollo Loco sports new look

El Pollo Loco's flagship store at SM Megamall has recently undergone remodeling and now has brick walls, hanging lamps, wood beams, and hand-painted tiles. 

El Pollo Loco is known for its slow-grilled fragrant chicken, which can be ordered with potato salad, fiesta corn, coleslaw, Spanish rice, and loco fries.

The restaurant also serves beef nachos, spaghetti con salsa, cheesy taquitos, and cheese quesadilla. 

9. Philippine National Latte Championship

Jolly Cow Fresh Milk was selected as the official milk for this year’s Philippine National Latte Championship.

Twenty baristas from various coffee shops in Metro Manila competed in a friendly Latte Art Throwdown at the Fly Ace Corporate Center last June 3.

10. International chefs at Edsa Shangri-La

Passengers can enjoy Thai Green Curry with Rice, an aromatic chicken curry infused with authentic Thai spices and served with fragrant white rice; Malaysia's Nasi Lemak; Singapore's Chicken Rice; and the Philippines' Chicken Adobo.

AirAsia's Santan menu is also adding Chicken Lasagne via online pre-booking. The dish is a blend of classic creamy cheese, chicken, and assorted vegetables. 

Hot meals with drinks are priced at P180 each. 

13. MIASCOR Catering opens facility in Kalibo

MIASCOR Catering recently opened its third facility in Kalibo, making it the only certified in-flight catering company in the area. Such development will better equip the airport as an international hub. 

MIASCOR Catering also has kitchen facilities in Manila and Clark. 

14. Australian grass-fed beef at COD

Hormone-free and antibiotic-free certified Australian grass-fed beef is now available at City of Dreams Manila’s signature restaurants – Crystal Dragon and Red Ginger.

The promotion is held in conjunction with the Australian Embassy in the Philippines, Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Victorian State Government, and Meat and Livestock Australia, with participating outlets in the city.

Crystal Dragon’s exclusive a la carte menu, available until August 23, features Crispy Crystal Beef Rump Sliced with Manuka Honey and Fragrant Sesame Seed, Smoked Tea Beef Short Ribs Served with Pickles and Fried Homemade Bun, Wok-fried Grass-fed Beef Tenderloin with Asparagus in Sichuan Pepper Sauce, Sitr-fried Diced Grass-fed Beef Sirloin with Vegetables and Mushrooms Served in Crispy Golden Cup, and Pan-fried Grass-fed Beef Sirloin Rolled with Enoki Mushrooms in Barbeque Sauce.
 
Meanwhile, for diners seeking Southeast Asian cuisine, Red Ginger features Char-grilled Mulwarra Beef Tenderloin Steak (served with Balado sambal sauce, hand-cut potato wedges, and tossed green beans); Vietnamese Beef "Luc Lac" (wok-flamed beef cube roll with watercress and rocket salad); Indonesian Beef Satay (with Sambal Matah, roasted eggplant, crispy shallots, and steamed Jasmine rice); and Thai Beef Massaman Curry (slow-cooked beef oyster blade in fragrant cashew and spice paste, coconut cream, and steamed Jasmine rice).
