MANILA -- Here are some of the events and activities you can check out this weekend. 

1. The Hub celebrates the re-opening of Make Lab

 

When: July 22 (11 a.m. to 12 midnight)
Where: Escolta Street

The Hub, also known as the artspace along Escolta Street where creators and small-sized entrepreneurs converge, has undergone a facelift. This Saturday, various artists will go there to celebrate it. 

A group show, featuring a series of activities and other artist-related events, will be held. There will be shopping booths, music, food, paintings, photography and edible art among others. 

The Hub is located at First United Building, 413 Escolta Street, Sta. Cruz, Manila.

2. Ballet Philippines Dance School's Open House 

 

When: July 22 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Where: Greenhills Theater Mall, San Juan 

Ballet Philippines Dance School—Greenhills is holding an open house this Saturday, where you can observe classes and meet mentors. There will also be a special performance, as well as a meet & greet with a ballerina from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. 

Registered guests can get a 10% discount on the quarterly tuition. For inquiries, call (02) 727-0233. 

3. UberPLANE

 

When: July 22
Where: Makati City, Bonifacio Global City and Pasay City

Available to all riders from Makati City, Bonifacio Global City and Pasay City on Saturday, riders can request for an UberPLANE ride from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. using the Uber app. 

Three lucky participants will get a chance to win one Economy Class return ticket to fly immediately to mystery locations around Southeast Asia with hotel accommodation and available pick-up.

4. The 90’s Live 

When: July 22
Where: The Theatre at Solaire Resort

Solaire Resort proudly brings back the live and powerful sound of an era in “The 90’s Live!”, a grand onstage reunion of the decade's biggest names in music such as Wency Cornejo (AfterImage), Jett Pangan (The Dawn), Paco Arespacochaga (Introvoys), Cooky Chua (Color it Red), Medwin Marfil (True Faith), Dong Abay (Yano), Naldy Padilla (Orient Pearl), Perf de Castro (Rivermaya), and Lei Bautista (Prettier Than Pink).
