MANILA - Here are some of the activities you can check out this weekend.

1. ASAP Silver Anniversary 

When: May 21
Where: Araneta Coliseum 

The country's longest-running Sunday variety show is having its silver anniversary at the Big Dome on Sunday. 

A hundred of the country's brightest stars and performers will be present in the milestone concert. Among them are John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban, Jodi Sta. Maria, Jericho Rosales and Piolo Pascual. 

The country's top love teams Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona, Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, and Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will also be there.

2. Red Bull Reign Manila Qualifier A

When: May 20
Where: Buendia Food by the Court

Red Bull’s signature 3x3 tournament is coming to the country for the first time to test the skills of the country's top ballers. 

This unique 3x3 basketball tournament will pit hopefuls against one another in a high-endurance, offensive-driven battle that ends with over 15 countries sending their best to compete at the World Finals in Washington DC. 

For the Manila Qualifier A, Eric Tai will be playing against other players.

3. Madz Et Al Choral Fest

When: May 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28
Where: Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino

The Philippine Madrigal Singers and the Cultural Center of the Philippines are presenting Madz Et Al Choral Fest. 

This is in connection with the Philippine hosting of the ASEAN 2017, and coincides with the ASEAN’s 50th founding anniversary.

The Madz Et Al is the brainchild of National Artist for Music and Founder of the Philippine Madrigal Singers Prof. Andrea O. Veneracion. 

This year, the festival will showcase various choral works from different member ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Brunei, Myanmar, Malaysia, Laos and the Philippines.

4. Get Music Indie-Go

When: May 20 
Where: Mall of Asia Arena

MCA Universal’s GetMusic Indie-Go is once again gathering local indie artists to outdo each other in the spirit of friendly competition. 

Among the artists who will be joining the concert are modern rock outfit Autotelic, smooth and sexy, R&B-flavored acts like SUD, Jensen & The Flips, Conscious & The Goodness and Milesexperience, electronic artist Somedaydream, hip-hop savvy Ninno, femme favorites She's Only Sixteen, all-around darling of the music scene Reese Lansangan, and former Urbandub vocalist/guitarist/chief songwriter Gabby Alipe.
