MANILA - Here are some of the activities, events, and promos you can grab this weekend. 

1. Metabeats: Fitstreet

When: April 22 and 23
Where: Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater

Celebrity trainers Jim and Toni Saret are spearheading a fitness workshop in partnership with Lifestyle TV this coming weekend. 

This is in line with Bonifacio High Street's "Summer on the Street" campaign called "Fitstreet," which comprises cool community group workouts and fitness challenges.

2. PPO's 34th concert season-ender

When: April 21
Where: CCP Main Theater

French pianist Monique Duphil is performing with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra for its 34th season-ender. 

The program includes G. Gershwin's "Girl Crazy – Overture" and "Piano Concerto in F," A. Copland's "El Salon Mexico," and Arturo Marques' "Danzon No. 2" and "El Conga del Fuego."

3. Gugma

When: April 23
Where: CCP Little Theater

Pinay singer, ethnomusicologist and cultural worker Grace Nono is performing at CCP with guitarists Arthur Erskine M. Basilio, Ryan "PePe" E. Ednave and bassist Glenn Reniel M. Bondoc. 

Titled "Gugma" ("love" in the Visayan language), the concert features Visayan love songs popularized by various singers in the 20th century. Majority of these songs were also featured in Grace Nono's recording "Dalit: Songs of Love, Loss, and Finding Heart Again" (Tao Music, 2009).

4. Hero for Boracay 

When: April 22
Where: Epic Beach Front (Station 2)

Marathon coach and race organizer Rio dela Cruz is encouraging tourists to be a hero for Boracay by joining this summer's SKYathon, an annual beach run that champions coral reef rehabilitation.

The highly anticipated destination run will happen on April 22 (Saturday) at the Epic Beach Front (station 2). Gunstart is at 6 a.m.

5. ​​​​Eduard Folayang

When: April 21 
Where: MOA Arena 

Join Eduard "Landslide" Folayang as he locks horns with Malaysian-Kiwi sensation Ev "E.T." Ting at the main event of "ONE: Kings of Destiny."

Folayang, who is universally recognized as the face of the Philippine MMA scene, has previously headlined two events under the ONE Championship banner.

6. Healthy Choices Bazaar

When: April 22 and 23
Where: Bonifacio High Street 

Are you a health buff? Check out the Healthy Choices Bazaar at the Bonifacio High Street this weekend.

7. Art in the South

Where: The Filinvest Tent, Filinvest City, Alabang​

Art lovers and enthusiasts are invited to join the Art In The South, a one-day art festival. 

This event features the works of Philippine masters as well as rising young artists. It also aims to promote the booming art scene in the fast developing neighborhoods of Muntinlupa, Laguna, Parañaque, Las Piñas and Cavite.

8. NorthPine's Weekend Market
