MANILA - Special elections did not push through in two towns in the province of Antique on Saturday.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in the province said it decided to postpone the polls to Monday, May 16, after it failed to receive the guidelines for the conduct of the special elections.

In Barangay Mambuyong in Anini-y town, 268 voters were not able to cast their votes last May 9 when official ballots were not delivered.

Twenty-four voters in Barangay Insubuan in San Remegio town also failed to vote due to non-delivery of ballots. - Report from Regi Adosto, ABS-CBN News Iloilo
