WATCH: Shouting intensifies outside BPI Julia Vargas

MANILA - Supporters of both Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV engaged in a shouting match outside the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Julia Vargas branch in Pasig City Monday morning.

Videos taken by ABS-CBN reporter Jeff Canoy showed Duterte supporters from Taguig arguing with Trillanes' supporters over the alleged hidden wealth of the Davao City mayor and presidential candidate.

Trillanes and Duterte lawyer Salvador Panelo both showed up at the bank Monday amid allegations that Duterte received millions of pesos in undeclared deposits in the bank since 2014.

Duterte earlier said he will only open his bank transactions if Trillanes reveals his informant, a challenge which the senator refused.

The senator earlier said revealing his informant could lead to the source's death, saying that the mayor could use the "Davao Death Squad" to kill the informant.

He also said Duterte's alleged admission that he received "deposits from rich friends" is proof that the mayor violated Republic Act No. 6713, or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Practices for Public Officials and Employees, which prohibits government officials from accepting gifts of any sort.

"Hindi ba niya alam na bawal mag-receive ng regalo ang isang public official?" said Trillanes, who is running for vice president.
