DAVAO CITY - Korean Ambassador to the Philippines Kim Jae-Shin on Thursday paid a visit to President-elect Rodrigo Duterte to congratulate the incoming chief executive on his victory.

Kim said he conveyed South Korean President Park Geun-Hye’s congratulatory message to Duterte.

He said the Korean government wants to improve its bilateral ties with Manila under Duterte's leadership.
