MANILA - The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has unveiled its special website for the publication of election results.

Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez said the website will reflect election results and certificates of canvass transmitted to the poll body's central server.

The server has been deployed in an isolated environment with high security standards.

Jimenez said the website, which will be active after the voting closes, will not rank vote tallies but will only sum these up by location.

The Comelec also maintained that it would only canvass the results for the Senate and party-list race.

The canvass of votes for the presidential and vice-presidential race is the sole jurisdiction of Congress sitting as the National Board of Canvassers, according to the poll body.
