The endorsement of presidential sister and celebrity Kris Aquino has vastly helped her campaign and contributed to her surge in pre-election surveys, Leni Robredo said Sunday.

Robredo, who recorded a steady rise in surveys, claimed her numbers rose after the Aquino advertisement was aired.

"Kay Kris na-hit iyong segment ng population na hindi ko maabot," Robredo said at the sidelines of Harapan ng Bise, a debate initiated by ABS-CBN.

On Sunday, a Social Weather Stations (SWS) mobile survey that first appeared on the Bilang Pilipino site claimed Robredo is already leading the vice presidential race, with 30 percent of 1,200 validated voters picking the Liberal Party bet.

The SWS-Bilang Pilipino survey was conducted on April 14, four days after the first Vice-Presidential debates.

Robredo's rivals, Bongbong Marcos got 27%, Chiz Escudero had 25%, Alan Peter Cayetano had 13%, Antonio Trillanes IV got 3%, Gringo Honasan had 1%, and undecided/others 2%, according to the survey.

"For the first time, nag-number one tayo sa survey. Masayang masaya kasi nagpapakita yung ginagawa natin may resulta naman. Magbibigay ito ng mas maraming inspirasyon at lakas sa napakarami namin volunteers na talagang very tireless yung efforts na kumakampanya sa atin," said Robredo.

She also vowed not to be complacent, even after topping the survey.

"Hindi dahilan para magkampate kasi may tatlong linggo pa bago mag eleksyon, marami pang puwedeng mangyari," she said.

Robredo acknowledged the importance of pre-election surveys, saying it is a valuable guide in their campaign.

"Parati namang mahalaga yung surveys kahit noong sadsad pa ako kasi ito yung nagpapakita kung saang areas ko pa kailangang maglakad," she said.
