Remains of Pinoy killed in oil rig blast arrive in Iligan

MANILA, Philippines – The remains of the Filipino worker who died in an oil rig explosion in the United States last November 16 arrived in Iligan City on Saturday morning.

The family of Ellroy Corporal, especially his wife Mary Jean, became emotional when the casket bringing Corporal's remains arrived in Iligan at around 9 a.m.

Edmund Maxilom Jr., crewing officer of DNR Offshore, said Corporal's body arrived in Manila at around 11 p.m. on Friday.

He said DNR Offshore has already given assistance to Corporal's wife and two children.

Corporal's family said the wake will be held in their house in Dalipuga.
