MANILA, Philippines – Two Pinays made it to the finals of the talent search K-Pop Star Hunt in South Korea.
Liahona Flores and Sheila Eunice Ona will leave for South Korea to represent the Philippines. They will undergo training before the competition.
Flores from Opol, Misamis Oriental is a fourth year high school student.
She wants to be a professional singer someday. She hopes to achieve the dream that her father once aspired for.
For Ona, she attributes her love for singing and dancing to her musically talented family.
Ona began writing and composing her own music with the help of a guitar when she was in 4th year high school.
Ona believes that with determination, proper training and practice, she can achieve anything.
The two will compete with other hopefuls from Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand.
Voting, which can affect the results of the show, will be open until October 31st.

Korean entertainment channel tvN’s K-Pop Star Hunt is a reality singing competition in South Korea.
