MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines' newest carrier, AirAsia, announced its “Paskong Kay Saya Hatid ng AirAsia” video contest promo that will allow one lucky overseas Filipino worker from Hong Kong to spend Christmas with his or her family in the shopping haven.

“This Christmas, AirAsia will surprise an OFW by flying five members of his family to HK complete with hotel accommodations,” said AirAsia Inc. CEO Maan Hontiveros said.

As early as October and November, AirAsia will set up a video booth in Charter Road, Hong Kong for OFWs to visit and film their most creative answers to the contest question, “What Christmas experience do you want to give your family here in Hong Kong?”

“As a Filipino low cost carrier, we feel strongly about supporting our workers abroad and to show them our appreciation we are giving them an exciting opportunity to reunite and bond with their loved ones,” Hontiveros added.

Contest promo mechanics and other information will be announced soon.

AirAsia flies daily to Hong Kong departing from Clark International Airport at 7:20 a.m.
