HOLLYWOOD - From drawing on walls to illustrating the biggest stars, Filipino-American artist/designer Jarret Fajardo talks about pursuing his Hollywood dream.

Walking on the red carpet among stars attending the Creative Arts Emmys, which honors television's best talents behind the scenes, is a surreal experience for Fajardo.

"It feels great, I mean, I'm surrounded by peers who are so artistically talented," said Fajardo.

Fajardo is making a name for himself in Hollywood. His growing resume lists collaborations with highly respected artists including director Francis Ford Cappola.

"I used to draw on the walls. My parents hated it," he said.

He added that his parents are a little nervous for him as an artist in the Hollywood scene especially in a community that's really hard to break into.

"I've worked on tours for Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez as artist-illustrator. I've been known as concept artist for horror films like Jeepers Creepers and a lot of feature films for television shows," he said.

Fajardo was part of the design team that produced artwork for the concert tours of Usher, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. He is currently working on a project for Cee Lo Green.
