LOS ANGELES – Filipino American college student Joseph Almario, 21, was among two passengers killed in an alcohol-related vehicular accident last week.
Almario and Manolo “Simon” Magat were two of the passengers killed in a car, driven by their friend Christine Meng.
The four friends were out late Tuesday night having drinks at the Villains Tavern just outside of downtown Los Angeles.
Their vehicle had reportedly plunged about a hundred feet while driving on the 10 Freeway.
Meng was found to have a blood alcohol level of over the legal limit. She was arrested for felony driving under the influence. Another passenger, Jason Lieu survived the crash.
