MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs said 15 more overseas Filipino workers from Libya are scheduled to arrive in Manila on Saturday afternoon.
The repatriates are onboard Qatar Airways Flight 926. The plane is set to arrive at 4 p.m. at the terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Their arrival brings to 520 the total number of Filipinos repatriated from Libya.
Meanwhile, 207 additional OFWs have registered with the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli to avail of the voluntary repatriation program of the Philippine government.
The DFA continues to appeal to all Filipino nationals in Libya to contact the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli and register for repatriation.
