REDWOOD CITY, California – Filipino-American Jose Antonio Vargas is arguably the most famous undocumented immigrant in America, and he's getting involved in the immigration crisis at the US-Mexico border.

The award-winning Filipino journalist and filmmaker announced on Twitter that he's heading to McAllen, Texas on Thursday to speak with anti-government militia groups about his immigration reform campaign called "Define American".

Vargas' "Define American" is a media and culture campaign that aims to shift conversation around immigration, identity and citizenship in America.
