MANILA – The number of Filipino repatriates from Libya is set to increase with the arrival of 27 more overseas Filipino workers in Manila on Thursday afternoon.
The repatriates are scheduled to arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 on board EK 332.
Their arrival will bring to 515 the total number of OFW repatriates from Libya.
The repatriates work for the Doosan, Daemyung, Sunchang-Hyundai and Alnahr Companies.
Representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will meet the repatriates at the airport to brief and assist them.
The DFA continues to appeal to Filipinos in Libya to get in touch with the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli and register for voluntary repatriation.
