MANILA - A Filipino and a Malaysian were reportedly abducted in Sabah, an official of the Department of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday.

Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Charles Jose said the two were seen heading toward southern Philippines. He said the abductors have yet to be identified.

"There is a Filipino together with a Malaysian who were abducted in Sabah, and they were spotted to be heading towards southern Philippines...Right now we don't have information on the identities of those who abducted them."
