CALIFORNIA - The world class talents of Filipinos are known to Hollywood actress Jessica Lowe, who said she's a fan of Filipino singer, Bamboo, who is currently a judge on "The Voice Kids."
"Yes, I've met him a couple of times," she said.
"Blended" is Lowe's first movie, where he co-stars with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler.
In the movie, Lowe is paired with "Saturday Night Live" cast member, Kevin Nealon.
Also in the movie is Hollywood actress Bella Thorne, who is also an author. She has a reading disability and hopes that other kids with dyslexia will be inspired with her book series "Autumn Falls."
"I really hope that it proves to kids that if I am able to write a book series for Random House, they are able to achieve their dreams too," Thorne said.
Thorne's own inspiration is her co-star Barrymore.
Barrymore had a difficult childhood but she shared how she got to where she is now, a successful Hollywood star and a happily married mother of two.
"I was so young at that point and everybody has a moment where they make a decision of how they want their life to go. By my early teens, I was like ready to be a responsible person and I've been happy ever since. I think happiness is a choice. You make good choices, you choose good people to be around. Those are things that every young person has to figure out," Barrymore said.
