MANILA – A total of 53 Filipinos working for a Korean company in Libya will be arriving in two batches on Wednesday, the Department of Foreign Affairs said.
The first batch composed of 20 Filipinos will arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 on board Emirates Airlines Flight EK332 at 4:30 p.m.
The remaining 33 workers is scheduled to arrive in Manila at 10:10 p.m. via EK 334.
The repatriates are from the Doosan Company.
The DFA said that out of 251 Filipinos who volunteered for repatriation, only 198 remain in Libya.
The DFA continues to remind Filipinos in Libya to get in touch with the Philippine embassy in Tripoli and volunteer for repatriation. The Philippine government will shoulder the repatriation costs.
