Pinoy arrested over alleged murder of co-worker in San Diego
LOS ANGELES - A 48-year-old Filipino was arrested in San Diego in connection with the death of his Filipina co-worker.
Police arrested LBC Express worker and inventor Leopoldo Pacuan, as a suspect in the death of 63-year-old Raquel Morales over the weekend.
Morales was found dead with trauma earlier this month at the LBC
Express in Mira Mesa where she worked.
Reports say Pacuan was on leave during Morales' death and he attempted to rob the store. However, he reportedly left physical evidence at the store.
He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
Pacuan is reportedly a member of the Filipino Inventors Society. He claims to have invented "AireGas catalytic combustion", which he described as a "revolutionary anti-air pollution device."
