MANILA – Two Filipino boys are members of the prestigious Sistine Chapel Choir (Cappella Musicale Pontificia Sistina).

Dan Arancina, 10, and Emanuele Majico, 11, are both part of the official boy choristers of the Sistine Chapel Choir.

The Sistine Chapel Choir is a choir based in the Vatican and is one of the oldest religious choirs in the world.

At present, the choir comprises approximately 20 adult singers (11 tenors and 9 basses) and 30 boy choristers (sopranos and contraltos).

The choir held an "open day" performance last April 2 at the Basilica of Santa Maria in Ara Coeli in Rome to let the public get a glimpse of its activities.

Both Filipino boys were part of that performance.
