BRUSSELS - Just like Charice Pempengco and Arnel Pineda, Pinay singer Bianca Evangelista, also known as Bianca Eve, is determined to be an internationally acclaimed singer and make her kababayan proud.

As she gears for the launching of her first CD and concert, Bianca shared with ABS-CBN Europe News Bureau that joining singing competitions helped develop her talent.
“Ang advantage ko po sa ibang singer dito sa Belgium, unang-una, may sariling style po ako. Pinoy ako at 10 years na po akong sumasali sa mga singing contests at awa naman po ng Dyos, parati akong nananalo,” she said.
The 24-year-old singer, who happens to be the youngest among the siblings of Philippine National Police General Arturo Evangelista and Lily Casas, was born and raised in the Philippines. She later joined her mother in Belgium and started competing for singing contests.
Although she failed to win in Belgian Idol 2006, she was proclaimed champion in Antwerpen Singing contest and D’ Crew Club in 2007 and 2008, respectively.
Since then, Bianca became an instant household name in the Flemish region of Belgium. But even with the fame that goes with her name, Bianca remains humble and promised to improve her craft for her family and kababayan.
On the other hand, Albert Smets, Bianca’s Manager has nothing but praises for the Pinay singer.
“As manager of Bianca Eve, I’m very confident that Bianca Eve will succeed in her singing career because she has a good voice and performance. She sings very good and she has her own style,” he beamed with pride.
Bianca Eve’s first ever CD will be launched in May with a carrier single “Go For More,” written by famous Belgian Composer Andy Free.
